Findon Downs Dog Training Club has been serving the community since 1967, helping ensure that our dogs are well behaved members of the family that are welcomed wherever they go.
We promote reward based training methods to ensure that our dogs enjoy their training and are keen to be obedient members of the family. We keep numbers in the classes down to ensure that each and every dog and handler receives the attention they require to achieve their goals. This does mean that we often have to operate a Waiting List so please get in touch with us as soon as you know you are going to be adding a dog to your family to ensure there is a place in a class for when you and your dog are ready.
We train on Tuesday evenings at:
Washington Village Memorial Hall, School Lane, Washington, West Sussex RH20 4AP. Classes start with the Foundation Class for puppies and dogs just starting their training. We then follow the Kennel Club Good Citizen Dog Scheme with Bronze, Silver and Gold Classes. For those handlers and dogs that have passed their Gold Test but want to continue training or who are interested in competing in some of the various dog sports we have the Advanced Class.
